How does someone end up in an emotional affair?
How is this different from a sexual affair?
Is one less devastating then the other?
Basically a sexual affair would mean you’re just doing it for the sex.
Probally a one-night-stand thing, behind your partners back. It doesn’t usually last long, and you basically don’t hold any feelings for that person.
An emotional affair would mean you’re in love with another person, who isn’t the person you’re with. And it’s because you genuinly like them, not because they’re pretty or good in bed and stuff.
I guess it’d be more devastating to be cheated on in an emotional one, but all types of cheating are bad. If someone realises that they’re having an emotional affair it would mean that they should leave the person they’re with because they are not in love with them anymore.
